  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.
  3. Add the rice to the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Drain the rice and set aside.
  5. In a separate pot, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  6. Add the lima beans and dill to the pot and sauté for another 5 minutes.
  7. Add the partially cooked rice to the pot and mix well.
  8. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
  9. Let the dish rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
