In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.

Add vegetable broth and bring to a boil.

Cut tofu into small cubes and add to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in soy sauce, salt, and pepper.

Chop cilantro and green onions, and add to the soup. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
