Ingredients
  • 3 medium-sized Potatoes
  • 2 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 finely chopped Green chili
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Fresh coriander
  • 1 teaspoon grated Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • for cooking Ghee or oil
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until they are cooked. Peel and mash them.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, finely chopped onion, green chili, fresh coriander, grated ginger, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add whole wheat flour gradually and knead to form a soft dough. If needed, add water sparingly.
  4. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a small disc.
  5. Place a portion of the potato mixture in the center of the disc and seal it by bringing the edges together.
  6. Gently roll out the stuffed dough into a circular paratha.
  7. Heat a tawa or griddle and cook the paratha on medium heat until golden brown spots appear on both sides, applying ghee or oil as needed.
  8. Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or any chutney of your choice.
