Almonds are not actually nuts, but seeds of the almond fruit!

This is vegan, gluten free and low carb recipe. Dish can be prepared in 35 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 7.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, ground flaxseed, salt, and baking soda.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix almond butter, maple syrup, and water until well combined.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper until it is about 1/8 inch thick.
  6. Remove the top sheet of parchment paper and transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Score the dough into desired cracker shapes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  10. Break the crackers along the scored lines and serve.
