Soak kidney beans overnight in water.

Drain the soaked kidney beans and rinse them.

In a pressure cooker, add the kidney beans, water, and salt. Pressure cook for 15 minutes.

In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds.

Add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili. Sauté until golden brown.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Mix well.

Add the cooked kidney beans along with the water from the pressure cooker. Mix well.
