Soak the rice vermicelli in hot water for 5 minutes, then drain.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan.

Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add carrots, cabbage, and bean sprouts. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and add the soaked rice vermicelli.

Stir-fry the vermicelli for 3 minutes, then mix with the vegetables.

Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
