Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add marinara sauce, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add cooked penne pasta to the saucepan and toss to coat evenly.
