Ingredients
  • 500 gram Yam
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Peel and cut the yam into small cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Coat the yam cubes with the spice mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, add cornstarch.
  5. Roll the coated yam cubes in the cornstarch until fully coated.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan.
  7. Fry the coated yam cubes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the pan and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
  9. Serve hot.
