Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Whole Wheat Noodles
  • 2 cup Mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon Sage
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 4 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
Instructions
  1. Cook the whole wheat noodles according to the package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion. Saute until fragrant and onion is translucent.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.
  4. Stir in sage, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add vegetable broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Drain the cooked noodles and add them to the skillet. Toss until well coated with the mushroom sage sauce.
  7. Remove from heat and let the flavors meld for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
