Ingredients
  • 1 cup Wheat Berries
  • 3 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 3 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 bunch Scallions
  • 2 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
Instructions
  1. Rinse the wheat berries under cold water.
  2. In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the wheat berries. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the wheat berries are tender.
  3. Drain the wheat berries and transfer them to a large bowl.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil and soy sauce.
  5. Pour the sesame oil and soy sauce mixture over the wheat berries and toss to combine.
  6. Slice the scallions and sprinkle them over the wheat berries.
  7. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
  8. Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.
