Ingredients
  • 2 cup Dried navy beans
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Liquid smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Rinse the dried navy beans and soak them overnight.
  2. Drain the soaked beans and add them to the slow cooker.
  3. Chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, tomato sauce, brown sugar, maple syrup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, salt, black pepper, and water to the slow cooker.
  5. Stir everything together.
  6. Cook on low heat for 4 hours or until the beans are tender.
  7. Serve hot as a side dish.
