  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 2 medium Carrot
  • 2 stalk Celery
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 2 can Canned Tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 10 leaves Fresh Basil
  • 400 grams Spaghetti
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add grated carrot, diced celery, sliced bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in canned tomatoes and tomato paste.
  5. Add dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and sugar.
  6. Simmer the sauce for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
  8. Serve the spaghetti with the veggie sauce on top. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
