Ingredients
  • 14 ounce Firm Tofu
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Chili Bean Paste
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 2 stalk Green Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Sichuan Peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Cut the tofu into small cubes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and add the garlic, ginger, and chili bean paste. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the tofu cubes and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and water. Pour the mixture into the pan and stir well.
  5. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and Sichuan peppercorns.
  7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
