Ingredients
  • 1 cup Chickpea flour
  • 1/4 cup Rice flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium Potato
  • 1/2 cup Cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 cup Spinach
  • 1/4 cup Mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro leaves
  • 1 small Green chili
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic
  • for deep-frying Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, baking powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients and mix well to form a smooth batter.
  3. Add chopped onion, grated potato, cauliflower florets, spinach, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, green chili, ginger, and garlic to the batter. Mix until all the ingredients are well coated.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or kadai.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the pakoras from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with mint and cilantro chutney.
