Ingredients
  • 2 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup Mixed Vegetables (Carrots, Peas, Beans, Cauliflower)
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Tomato
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 2 chopped Green Chili
  • 2 tablespoon Biryani Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 cup Mint Leaves
  • 1 cup Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Cashews
  • 2 tablespoon Raisins
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews and raisins until golden. Remove and keep aside.
  3. In the same pan, add sliced onions and fry until golden.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chili, and tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, biryani masala, and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add mixed vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Mix gently.
  8. Add water, mint leaves, and coriander leaves. Bring to a boil.
  9. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.
  10. Garnish with fried cashews and raisins. Serve hot.
