Ingredients
  • 500 gram Tomatoes
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 cup Vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 10 gram Fresh basil leaves
  • 4 tablespoon Cream
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add diced tomatoes, vegetable broth, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Use an immersion blender or transfer the soup to a blender to puree until smooth.
  4. Return the soup to the pot and stir in fresh basil leaves. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with a drizzle of cream and additional basil leaves if desired.
