Ingredients
  • 500 gram Pumpkin
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  • 3 piece Cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup Walnuts
  • 2 tablespoon Pomegranate seeds
Instructions
  1. Peel and cut the pumpkin into small cubes.
  2. In a large pot, combine water, sugar, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the pumpkin cubes to the pot and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the pumpkin is tender.
  4. Remove the pot from heat and let the pumpkin cool in the syrup for about 1 hour.
  5. Serve the poached pumpkin dessert in bowls or plates.
  6. Garnish with walnuts and pomegranate seeds.
  7. Drizzle with lemon juice.
