Ingredients
  • 2 cup Basmati rice
  • 2 each Bell peppers (assorted colors)
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions
  1. Rinse the basmati rice and cook it according to the package instructions.
  2. While the rice is cooking, chop the bell peppers, carrots, onion, and garlic.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper over the vegetables. Stir well.
  6. Add the frozen peas and continue cooking for another 3 minutes.
  7. Once the rice is cooked, add it to the pan with the vegetables. Mix well to combine.
  8. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
  9. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves before serving.
