Ingredients
  • 250 gram Sweet potatoes
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 gram Sugar
  • 200 milliliter Plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 500 milliliter Vegetable oil
  • 100 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Boil the sweet potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, sugar, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep saucepan or fryer.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the sweet potato mixture into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Remove the doughnuts from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. Dust the doughnuts with powdered sugar.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
