Ingredients
  • 300 gram Sweet Potatoes
  • 150 gram All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 50 gram Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
  1. Peel and grate the sweet potatoes.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the grated sweet potatoes, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar.
  3. Add almond milk and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the sweet potato doughnut batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
  7. Dust the fritters with powdered sugar.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
