Ingredients
  • 400 gram Sweet potatoes
  • 200 gram Chickpeas
  • 100 gram Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 60 gram Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Peel and grate the sweet potatoes.
  2. Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
  3. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and parsley.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the grated sweet potatoes, chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, black pepper, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
  5. Shape the mixture into patties.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove the patties from the pan and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve the sweet potato and chickpea patties with your favorite dipping sauce or as a burger patty. Enjoy!
