  1. Boil the sweet potatoes until tender. Peel and mash them.
  2. Roast the chestnuts and chop them finely.
  3. In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, chopped chestnuts, sautéed onion and garlic, breadcrumbs, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Shape the mixture into small balls.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.
  7. Fry the balls until golden brown on all sides.
  8. Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
  9. Serve hot as an appetizer or snack.
