Ingredients
  • 2 cup Sweet corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • as needed for frying Oil
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients and mix until a thick batter is formed.
  3. Add the sweet corn kernels to the batter and mix well.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the corn batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fried corn fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
