Ingredients
  • 4 ounce Sun-Dried Tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, and sauté until onion is translucent.
  2. Add sun-dried tomatoes and tomato paste, and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in dried basil, dried oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add water and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a blender or use an immersion blender to blend until smooth.
  7. Return the sauce to the saucepan and heat over low heat until warmed through.
  8. Serve over cooked pasta and enjoy!
