  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 handful Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce and tomato paste.
  4. Add dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in fresh basil leaves.
  7. Serve the sauce over cooked pasta and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
