Ingredients
  • 1 cup Popcorn kernels
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Pop the popcorn kernels using your preferred method.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the sugar, sriracha sauce, and salt to the saucepan. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then let it simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the baking soda. The mixture will foam up.
  7. Pour the caramel sauce over the popcorn and toss until the popcorn is evenly coated.
  8. Spread the popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the caramel is set.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the caramel corn cool for 5 minutes.
  11. Break apart any large clumps and enjoy!
