Ingredients
  • 1 cup Chickpeas
  • 2 medium-sized Potatoes
  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 2 chopped Green chili
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 8 sheets Frozen samosa sheets
  • as needed for frying Oil
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion, green chili, ginger, and garlic until golden brown.
  3. Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Add the mashed potatoes and chickpeas to the pan. Cook for a few minutes until well combined.
  5. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
  6. Take a samosa sheet and cut it in half to form two triangles.
  7. Fold each triangle into a cone shape and fill it with the potato and chickpea mixture.
  8. Seal the edges with water.
  9. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas until golden brown.
  10. Serve hot with raita.
