Ingredients
  • 1 can Black Beans
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic Cloves
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 pepper Jalapeno Pepper
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 buns Burger Buns
  • 4 leaves Lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • 4 slices Avocado
Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse the black beans.
  2. In a food processor, combine the black beans, onion, garlic cloves, red bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, cilantro, bread crumbs, cumin powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still slightly chunky.
  4. Form the mixture into patties and place them on a plate.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are crispy and browned.
  7. Toast the burger buns.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun.
  9. Top with lettuce, tomato, and avocado slices.
  10. Serve the spicy black bean burgers with your favorite condiments and enjoy!
