Ingredients
  • 200 gram Onion
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 2 piece Bell peppers
  • 4 piece Tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.
  3. Add chopped bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  7. Return the sofrito to the pan and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  8. Serve as a sauce or use it as a base for various dishes.
