Ingredients
  • 1 cup Red Lentils
  • 1 large Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic Cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 medium Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Rinse the red lentils under cold water.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine the red lentils, onion, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, cayenne pepper, coconut milk, water, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cook on low heat for 4 hours or on high heat for 2 hours, until the lentils are tender.
  4. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
