Ingredients
  • 500 gram Seitan
  • 2 cup Vegetable Broth
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 4 medium Potatoes
  • 2 stalk Celery
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. In a slow cooker, combine seitan, vegetable broth, onion, garlic, carrots, potatoes, celery, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water until smooth.
  4. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Serve the mock-roast with the vegetables and sauce.
