Ingredients
  • 1 piece Baguette
  • 4 medium Tomatoes
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 8 leaves Fresh Basil
  • 2 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. Place the slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
  4. Toast the slices in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
  5. While the bread is toasting, dice the tomatoes and finely chop the garlic.
  6. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  8. Rub the garlic cloves on one side of each bread slice.
  9. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the garlic-rubbed side of the bread slices.
  10. Let the bruschetta rest for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
