Ingredients
  • 2 pound Acorn squash
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 tablespoon Chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the acorn squash in half and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Brush the inside of each squash half with olive oil and maple syrup.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
  5. Place the squash halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the squash is tender.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Add a pat of butter to each squash half and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
