Ingredients
  • 400 gram Seitan
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 2 ounce Cashew Nuts
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the seitan until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, garam masala, cayenne pepper, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. In a blender, blend cashew nuts with water to make a smooth paste.
  5. Add the cashew paste and coconut milk to the pan. Mix well.
  6. Add fried seitan and kasuri methi. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
