Ingredients
  • 500 gram Green Beans
  • 2 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
  1. Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, water, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the green beans and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve hot as a side dish.
