Ingredients
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 can Rotel Tomatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 pepper Jalapeno
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1 juice of Lime
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan, heat some oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic. Saute until onions are translucent.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, Rotel tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers. Stir well.
  4. Season with salt, cumin, and black pepper. Stir again.
  5. Simmer the mixture for 10-15 minutes, until the flavors are well combined.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in freshly squeezed lime juice.
  7. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
  8. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, nachos, or grilled meats.
