Ingredients
  • 4 piece Red Capsicum
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 8 leaves Fresh Basil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Cut the red capsicum into halves and remove the seeds.
  3. Place the capsicum halves on a baking tray, cut side up.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the capsicum halves.
  5. Crush the garlic cloves and sprinkle them over the capsicum halves.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the capsicum is tender and slightly charred.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  10. Serve as an appetizer or as a side dish.
