Ingredients
  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup Mixed Vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Rinse the rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions, garlic, and ginger until golden brown.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Stir well.
  5. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix everything together.
  6. Add water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
