Ingredients
  • 500 gram Purple Yam
  • 2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 4 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
  1. Peel and cut the purple yam into small cubes.
  2. In a pot, boil the purple yam until tender.
  3. Drain and let it cool.
  4. In a blender, blend the cooked purple yam with coconut milk until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water.
  6. In a saucepan, combine the blended purple yam mixture, sugar, and cornstarch mixture.
  7. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  9. Transfer the purple yam cream into serving bowls or cups.
  10. Let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  11. Serve chilled and enjoy!
