Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 medium Onion
  • 4 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 4 piece Red chili peppers
  • 2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped red chili peppers, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add water and salt. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low.
  6. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon juice.
  9. Serve hot with rice or naan bread.
