Ingredients
  • 500 gram Onions
  • 2 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 4 cup Vegetable Stock
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 20 gram Fresh Mint Leaves
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Sprinkle flour over the onions and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Add turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  4. Pour in the vegetable stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Using an immersion blender, blend the soup until smooth.
  7. Stir in lemon juice.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh mint leaves.
