Ingredients
  • 200 gram Gram flour
  • 50 gram All-purpose flour
  • 50 gram Semolina
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/4 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 1/2 cup Water
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, all-purpose flour, semolina, turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoetida, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water and knead into a stiff dough.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into thin circles.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the rolled circles until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove the fried papadis from the oil and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
  6. Serve the papadis as a snack or with chutney or yogurt.
