Ingredients
  • 500 gram Asparagus
  • 1 piece Orange
  • 50 gram Walnuts
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Toss the asparagus to evenly coat with the oil and seasonings.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender.
  6. While the asparagus is roasting, peel the orange and cut it into segments.
  7. Roughly chop the walnuts.
  8. Once the asparagus is cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Arrange the roasted asparagus on a serving platter.
  10. Top with orange segments and chopped walnuts.
  11. Drizzle with a little more olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper, if desired.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy!
