Ingredients
  • 2 medium Onions
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Slice the onions into thin strings.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip the onion strings into the buttermilk, then coat them in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot.
  5. Fry the coated onion strings in batches until golden brown and crispy.
