Ingredients
  • 3 banana Ripe bananas
  • 2 kiwi Kiwi
  • 1.5 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Maple syrup
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 8 leaves Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Peel and slice the kiwi.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Add the mashed bananas, maple syrup, unsweetened applesauce, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  6. Gently fold in the sliced kiwi and chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  11. Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.
