Ingredients
  • 2 cup Chickpeas
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  2. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, onion, garlic cloves, fresh parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Process until well combined but still slightly chunky.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the all-purpose flour until the mixture holds together.
  5. Form the mixture into small balls or patties.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the falafel until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Remove from the pan and let them rest on a paper towel-lined plate.
  9. Serve hot with pita bread, tahini sauce, and fresh vegetables.
