Ingredients
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 can Coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the coconut milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the saucepan.
  6. Stir well and continue to simmer for another 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
  8. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.
