Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and slice the sweet potatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.

Place the sweet potato slices in a single layer in a baking dish. Pour the glaze mixture over the sweet potatoes, making sure they are evenly coated.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and the glaze is caramelized.

Let the sweet potatoes rest for 5 minutes before serving.
