Ingredients
  • 14 ounce Tofu
  • 2 teaspoon Ground Sichuan peppercorns
  • 2 teaspoon Minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoon Minced ginger
  • 1 cup Chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Chili bean paste
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Cut tofu into cubes and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add minced garlic, minced ginger, and ground Sichuan peppercorns. Stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add chili bean paste and stir-fry for another minute.
  4. Add tofu cubes and stir gently to coat them with the sauce.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry.
  6. Pour the slurry into the pan and stir gently until the sauce thickens.
  7. Add soy sauce and chopped green onions. Stir to combine.
  8. Let the dish simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot with steamed rice.
