Ingredients
  • 1 cup Mixed grains
  • 1 cup Wild rice
  • 4 cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk (or non-dairy milk)
  • 2 tablespoon Honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Fresh fruits (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, combine the mixed grains, wild rice, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes.
  2. Stir in the milk, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve the cereal hot, topped with fresh fruits if desired.
